Roz. Of course I had to consult one of my instances of AI for an answer to this question and it said, as follows:

That’s an interesting question. AI content creation is the use of artificial intelligence technology to produce and optimize content1. This can include generating ideas, writing copy, editing, and analyzing audience engagement. The goal is to automate and streamline the content creation process, making it more efficient and effective.

However, AI content creation is not without its limitations and challenges. AI still relies heavily on patterns and probabilities, and it cannot match the human creativity and nuance that are essential for engaging writing2. AI also struggles with accuracy, originality, and ethics, as it may produce content that is erroneous, plagiarized, or harmful3.

Therefore, it is unlikely that AI will replace human writers anytime soon. Rather, AI will augment and assist human writers by providing them with tools and insights that can help them improve their work. Human writers will still bring their unique perspectives and creativity to the table, while AI will handle the more mundane and repetitive tasks4. The future of writing will likely involve a combination of AI and human skills, where each complements the other5.
