What's all this "lasts a lifetime" stuff. I'm old, so that isn't that long. Besides, I love buying new pans. I have two Tramontina eight-inch fry pans with which I can do a dynamite breakfast. They lose the non-stick in a litte over a year. I toss them and then bask in the joy of brand new slick non-stick pans. I would be sad if that pleasure were denied me by a "lasts a lifetime" alternative.
